Fall fun

This fall I took Emily to Nall's Produce while Liam was at school.  She had fun seeing the chickens and running around with her friends.

 To end Liam's sea week at school we bought a new pet fish.  His name is Owen and the kids enjoy watching him and feeding him.

DC family pirate cruise.  This was a groupon and something I've wanted to try for awhile.  However I was afraid the kids wouldn't like it and then you are stuck at "sea" with unhappiness.  I was so wrong.  They loved it and are talking about going again next summer.

 

 The boats walls were high enough that no one could go overboard.

 We took them to Burke Nursery for some outdoor fall fun.  I would have loved to go to one of the bigger farms like last year but there wasn't enough time.  Weekends fill up fast.

This was the first year Liam has been interested in putting a costume on.  He chose it himself and was very proud of it.  They were so excited when the big day came.  We went to a Halloween story time, parade, party at My Gym, and trick or treating in our neighborhood.  They stayed out in the rain and filled their baskets.

Grandma Helen came to visit while Ryan was in Japan.

 Lately we have a new interest in trains.  We are also learning parallel play.
