I took Liam to see the train exhibit at the US Botanic Garden. It was such a cool exhibit. They build a miniature forest for trains to run through. The trains go pretty fast and dart in and out of tunnels. Liam could have watched them for hours and kept running from tunnel to tunnel to see where they would appear. He also enjoyed the plants made into different shapes.
Liam's new hiding place! After the Christmas tree came down I bought a bench to go next to the front door. I thought it would be used for hats, coats, and shoes, not cars and Liam!
Liam is starting to learn how to take pictures. Here is a picture he took of grandpa and grandma Connie during a skype call.
And a picture he took of me and Emily with grandpa in the background.
Taking pictures of each other.
Staging his toys for the next picture.
Liam is 3 1/2 now and is learning so much every day. He is learning to read and is especially interested in road signs. At each one he wants me to read what it says and explain what it means. He spends a lot of time reviewing his books and corrects me when I skip a word or say the wrong word.
His favorite TV show is Team Umizoomi. He also likes playing starfall.com on the computer and can use the mouse by himself. For the most part he plays with his cars and trucks and legos the most and has given up playing trains. However, the days of independent play are over. He constantly wants Ryan or I to play with him. Some of our favorite games are hide and seek, roll and play, and candy land.
His preschool teacher says that he is doing well and everyone likes playing with him. At school they have a music class, art, and other fun activities.
