Getting ready for Christmas

We made our first (mine and Liam's) gingerbread house with some friends.

Tried to get a picture of Liam and Emily together but it didn't work.  So then I tried to take one of each of them individually.  Liam still didn't want to.  He has become camera shy.

A couple years ago we received a Hallmark house that sings Christmas songs to dancing lights.  This is Liam's favorite decoration at home so we ordered the collection. 

Liam loves seeing Christmas lights. He asks to see them day and night. This activity seems to make both of them happy because Emily loves sleeping in her car seat. When we drive around Liam says, "there are more lights too!"

Liam dressed up for his Christmas party at school.  He was also an angel in the Christmas play.  All of the two year olds stood there in shock while the 3 and 4 year olds sung as loud as they could.

I tried to take Liam and Emily to see Santa a couple times but Liam seems afraid.  Emily thinks he is funny.  The other day we were in the store and Liam asked for a new train.  I took this opportunity to explain that we have to ask Santa to bring the new train on Christmas.  So we have been talking about it everyday and will go see Santa later this week.  I have a feeling he is going to get upset when Santa doesn't hand over the train.
