December Already?

It is December!  I do not know where the time has gone.  I still take a lot of pictures, just don't spend much time in front of a computer anymore.  Please keep checking and I will keep posting.

Liam and I snuck outside while Emily was napping one day to play in the leaves.  Our yard has 9 large oak trees so there were big piles for us to play in.  We jumped in, threw leaves in the air, and I covered Liam in the leaves.  This picture also shows off his cute new haircut.  Liam hates having his haircut so we do not go often.  This time he was very brave and was given a train as a reward for going. 

Liam is learning so much right now.  He likes to dance and sing.  He sings the ABC song, and clean up song most often.  We also spend a lot of time reading.  This is a good activity for us when Emily is eating because I don't need my hands.  Liam will turn the pages for me and helps me finish phrases.  There are some stories where he can read the entire book.  His memory surprises me.  He asks to go places we haven't been in a while or we have only been to once.  When we are driving in the car he will notice a turn or landmark and instantly know where we are going. 

 Emily is so sweet and absolutely loves her daddy and brother.  I get a smile every now and then but the second she sees either of them its all smiles and giggles. 

Emily is growing up fast.  She has her two front bottom teeth, can roll both directions, turn circles in her exersaucer, touch and eat her toes, and scoot while doing tummy time.  She is only waking up once to eat most nights and is getting better with daytime naps.

The best parts of my day are when I get to see Liam and Emily interact.  He tries to teach her things and is so gentle with her.  I just wish I could capture it all on camera!
