Trucks, trains, and art

Emily has been very interested in buckles.  She discovered how to undo her stroller buckle and Liam learned how to work his car seat buckle the same week.  So before she lost interest, we bought her a stroller.  She was so happy to take her baby for a walk.

At Liam's previous preschool they use to send home art project that resembled a known object.  At his current school they look more like this.
While I miss the cute little art projects I think "process art" is more educational and a better learning experience.

A couple weeks ago we went to a touch a truck event. Liam played ice cream man.

Drove a big truck with his best preschool friend.

Ran up and slid down a flat bed.

The following weekend we went to see the big Thomas train again.  Liam wasn't as excited this year but it was fun for both Liam and Emily.  They played on the retired trains in the museum, rode the big Thomas train, and enjoyed the carnival rides.  Both of them agreed their favorite was the little blue train on the track where they each had their own train car.
