Christmas 2012

The week before Christmas Liam's school had a chapel service for the kids.  Liam was so excited to have mom and Emily at school.
Ryan and I took Liam and Emily to see the water fountains at the Gaylord National Harbor.  Emily was thrilled to see the water dance to music with colored lights.  "Up, up!"
Inside the Gaylord they also had a train ride for the kids.  The first time around Liam and Emily choose the front and rode together.  The man working the train was kind enough to let them go again.  This time they decided to ride separately in the caboose.

Another tradition for us is visiting the national tree.  This was more difficult this year as we tried to bring the double stroller.  A double stroller is not a good idea with a big crowd.
Around the national tree are trains set up for the kids to watch.  It was so cold but they could have stood there and watched the trains for an hour.
 The night before Christmas...

Opening gifts Christmas morning.  Emily was so happy to see another baby that she didn't want to open more.  Liam helped her out though and tore open all of the presents.

Playing legos.  This is one of the few toys they play together without having a hard time sharing.

We had a wonderful Christmas again this year.  Thank you to everyone that thought of us and sent us cards and gifts.  The past couple years spending Christmas at home has been special.  We created some new traditions and have enjoyed stress free holidays.  However, I do miss spending holidays with family running from house to house and seeing everyone all in one day!
