Liam is on spring break from school this week so we took a few days to go visit grandma Smith. It was my first trip alone with Liam and Emily and it went well. Liam and Emily enjoyed playing with grandma and all of the toys she borrowed from church. On the way home Liam kept asking if we could go to the beach. Since there isn't a beach between our house and grandmas I wasn't sure how he came up with the idea.
Dying Easter eggs.
Emily exploring her Easter basket. We filled her plastic eggs with puffs. Liam's were full of m&m's. In addition to their Easter baskets we hid eggs around the playroom for Liam and Emily to find.
And we received so many books! Thank you to everyone our kids love to read.
So proud of her new skill.
After naps we went to the beach. It is a rocky beach along the Potomac at the National Harbor but to Liam it was a beach. He felt the wind on his face and sand in his shoes. We also brought our Easter kite to fly.
