Practicing

In a couple short weeks Emily went from army crawling and standing to crawling and pulling up.  She has been practicing a lot and loves standing.

One afternoon Liam and I heard Emily up from her nap.  We went to check on her and this is what we saw.  Emily standing in her crib as happy as can be. 

  Liam has been practicing a lot too.  He learned to stack blocks carefully without knocking them over.

 

 A few weeks ago Toy R Us sent a catalog of their outdoor toys.  I hoped to get the kids a swing set for the backyard but Liam decided on a playhouse with a red door.  We talked about it everyday for weeks.  Then one day it arrived.  The picture above is his reaction when he first saw it assembled in the backyard.

 We made paper kites and flew them around the house.

 Visiting the local pool.  It isn't warm enough for the outdoor pools yet but Liam is getting excited about summer.  So we took Liam and Emily to the rec center to practice swimming.

Emily did a great job in the water.  She kicked her feet and had proper form.
