7 Months

 Emily turning 7 months made me a little sad.  Maybe because she is over half a year, or it has something to do with her size and development.  It hit me when I was shopping for new clothes and I could no longer go to the newborn section (nb to 9mo) and found myself in the toddler section.  She is already 19lbs and getting taller each day.  

When Emily waves it looks like she is waving to herself.  She says "hey" when she sees Ryan or I.  We consider "hey" her first word.  Goo comes out a lot too probably because I call her good girl.  P and B noises are common but so far we haven't heard mama or dada. 

Emily is still scooting in circles and backward.  She will try to get on her knees but hasn't figured out how to move forward yet.  If something is low enough she tries to pull up and will take steps if you are holding her hands.

I'm going to try not to compare Liam and Emily much, but he was sleeping through the night at 3 months.  Emily hasn't slept through the night YET!  We keep waiting thinking the bigger she gets it will happen but I'm starting to think she is spoiled instead.

 Here you can see three of her teeth.  A couple weeks ago she popped 4 teeth within one week!  We thought it was 5 teeth but one is still hiding.

This picture was taken after I left Liam and Emily downstairs to play while I ran to get something upstairs.  When I came back I asked Liam what happened to Emily and he looked at her with concern and said, "baby are you otay?"  I just had to laugh that he was so occupied with his toys that he didn't notice that Emily tried to pull up on the piano and fell over.  She didn't seem to care either as she played music with her toes and had something to chew on.
