Christmas 2011

The Friday before Christmas we took Liam and Emily to the Gaylord at National Harbor.  They have a lot of lights, a water fountain that dances to music, and Santa.

Liam's favorite part was the dancing water fountain with colored lights.

Christmas Eve we went to the United State Botanic Garden.  To Liam's surprise there was a James number 5 engine there going around the big tree.  We wanted to see the train exhibit but the line was at least 2 hours long.  Guess everyone else thought this would be a good idea Christmas Eve too.

This boy loves water!
In their Christmas pj's listening to Twas the Night Before Christmas on their prerecorded book.
Christmas morning.  Liam was so excited to see his new table.  He kept saying, "I want this" then finally, "is this Liam's?"

He loves trucks, planes, and trains...

Emily had her first taste of wrapping paper.  She enjoyed ripping too and tried to pull Liam closer by tugging on his pjs.

After presents.  Thank you to everyone who sent us things for the kids.  They had a wonderful Christmas morning.
