Liam loves to play outside but it often ends up a game of chase. He will run circles around the house and I chase after him hoping he doesn't go near the street. So we decided it was time to fence in the yard. Liam discovered how to open the new fence in about 3 minutes.
We attempted to take away Liam's pacifier. The first night went well but then the second night he was so upset he climbed out of his crib. We had a few days of no sleep and uncertainty about what to do, even after giving the pacifier back. In order to keep him safe and in his crib we purchased a crib tent. The tent zips from the outside so we zip him in at night and out in the morning.
He has such a good memory! This weekend Ryan was working on the baby's room while Liam took one of Ryan's screwdrivers downstairs to "fix" his toy. This is something he watched Ryan do about two months ago.
Liam fixing his car as Ryan builds him a table and chair set.
Also new this week are the following phrases and words; that's right, big cup, I do it, this is where I sit, all asking for independence.
