Grandma went through the tunnel!

This weekend Liam attended one of the coolest birthday parties at the local fire station but unfortunately my camera was dead when we arrived.  At the station they gave us a tour and opened one of the fire trucks for the kids to play with.  At first I thought Liam would be afraid but he jumped right in and wanted to play with the buttons.  He also liked the numbers on the side of the truck. 202, his favorite numbers in addition to 8 & 9.  Liam is also learning letters and colors.  He knows how to say half of the alphabet, yellow, green and blue.  Yellow being the most fun to say.

My mom was also here this weekend.  We planned to take Liam to an Easter egg hunt but it rained so we opted for the playground.

 Liam wouldn't go down the slide alone.

 He still loves to swing.

 Grandma trying to teach him how to move his feet forward and back to make the swing go higher.  You can tell he is really interested.

 Then he ran to the big side of the playground and crawled through the tunnel.  Grandma chased after him and ended up in the tunnel too.

 By this point Liam had enough confidence to go down the slide alone!
