One year

One year has passed since Liam entered our lives. I feel so fortunate to be spending my life with Ryan and Liam. Everyone says babies change so fast and kids grow up too quick and now I am experiencing it myself. So much has happened the last year but it’s all gone too fast. I wish there was a way to spend more time together or slow life down every now and then.

Liam has grown into a curious toddler. He is so interested in the world around him and learning things quickly. When we show him how to use a toy it only takes a few tries for him to master it. He has great concentration and focus for figuring things out. Liam’s vocabulary is developing too. New words this week include duck and down.

To celebrate Liam’s birthday we invited friends from our play groups to join us at the soft playroom. This time at the playroom Liam was so excited. He quickly crawled around the room and had fun playing with us and his friends. Grandma Helen, Grandma Smith, Lawson and Andrea came to visit us too. Sunday afternoon we had a little party at our house with family. Liam ate all of the frosting off of the cake and didn’t get any on his clothes or in his hair. He had fun opening presents and even more fun playing with all of his new things.
