Mother's Day Liam and Ryan
surprised me with a note saying we are taking a trip. Over Memorial weekend the three of us are going to Orlando. It will be Liam's first flight and our first trip in a long time (if you don't count the many trips to visit family.)
This week Aunt Val came to visit and Liam went to 2 new places. We went to the National Zoo where Liam enjoyed looking at the lion, who was pacing and roaring. He raised his eyebrows at the moneys and thought the
meerkats were the funniest. The
meerkats are slightly smaller than piglet, move fast, and were in an exhibit at Liam's eye level. Each time they would run by or stand up he
would crack up. We also went to Great Falls National Park (picture above and below.) The park is just outside of DC and well worth the drive.
Liam has been practicing standing so we've been spending more time downstairs.
He also figured out how to climb the stairs so if I leave the room he has to go in the pack n play.
Liam's very own swing. Since he loved it so much we hung a swing in the backyard.
